HRCourses lists Ofqual-regulated and SCQF credit-rated HR and people-management qualifications from Qualifi, OTHM and EduQual, from Level 3 to Level 8, all studied online with tutor support, assignment-based assessment and progression routes to UK university top-ups.
Who we are
HRCourses is an independent UK guide to regulated human-resource and people-management qualifications, established in 2026. We are not an awarding body. We take the published specifications of three regulated awarding organisations — Qualifi and OTHM (both regulated by Ofqual) and EduQual (credit-rated on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework) — and present them side by side so you can compare level, credits, units and entry requirements before you choose.
This site exists to present the HR catalogue of all three bodies clearly: every level, every subject, every unit, with the facts taken directly from the awarding bodies' qualification specifications and re-checked nightly.
How study works
- Fully online. Unit materials, assignment briefs and tutor contact are delivered through the delivering centre's learning platform; there are no fixed lecture times.
- Assignment-based assessment. Each unit is assessed by one written assignment, marked by the centre and externally verified by the awarding body. No examinations.
- Flexible starts. Most programmes enrol monthly, so you can pace the qualification around work.
- Progression built in. Each level carries credit to the next; Level 6 and Level 7 completers are eligible for bachelor's and master's top-ups with advanced standing at partner universities.
Quality and recognition
Qualifi and OTHM are regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) in England; their qualification numbers are shown on each course page so you can verify them on the Ofqual register. EduQual qualifications are credit-rated by Qualifications Scotland on the SCQF; each course page shows the SCQF level and the RQF level EduQual states as equivalent. Every delivering centre is subject to the awarding body's centre approval requirements, internal quality assurance standards and external verification of every assessed unit.
How this site is kept accurate
Course facts (credits, Total Qualification Time, Guided Learning Hours, units, entry requirements, qualification numbers) are imported from qualifi.net, othm.org.uk and eduqual.org.uk and never edited by hand. Explanatory text is written and reviewed by the HRCourses adviser team, published under the organisation's name, and each page shows its last-reviewed date. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it.
Is HRCourses accredited? (legitimacy and regulation)

- Qualifi and OTHM — awarding organisations regulated by Ofqual. Every Ofqual qualification number on a course page can be checked on the Ofqual register.
- EduQual — awarding body approved by Qualifications Scotland; qualifications are credit-rated on the SCQF.
